Privacy Policy

Five does not collect your data. Not “we anonymise it”, not “we only collect what we need” — the app contains no networking code at all. Every claim below was checked against the source, not written from intention.
What the app stores
Everything you do in Five is written to a single file on your iPhone: when you started a session, what you typed as your first move, the dread ratings you chose, and any if-then plans you made. Nothing else on your phone can read it, and it is covered by your device’s own encryption.
What leaves your device
Nothing, unless you send it yourself. Settings → Export data produces a file and hands it to you; where it goes after that is your choice.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. Five never sees your name, your card, or your Apple ID. It asks iOS one question — whether a subscription is currently active — and gets back yes or no.
Notifications
If you set a reminder for a plan, iOS schedules it on your device. No server is involved and the text of your reminder never leaves your phone.
What the app does not do
- No analytics, of any kind
- No crash reporting
- No advertising identifiers, no tracking, no profiling
- No accounts, no sign-in, no email address collected
- No third-party SDKs — the app has zero external dependencies
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete all data erases the file. Deleting the app does the same. Neither leaves a copy anywhere, because there was never a copy anywhere.
Children
Five is not directed at children, and collects nothing from anyone of any age.
Changes
If this ever stops being true — if a future version syncs between devices, say — this page will change before that version ships, not after.
