Van Trails does not collect any personal data. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet.

What stays on your device

The game keeps your progress, the pictures you take in the game, and their captions in the app's own storage on your iPhone or iPad. They never leave your device through the game. Deleting the app deletes them. If your device's iCloud or computer backup is turned on, iOS may include them in your own backup, as it does for other apps.

Your photo library

If you choose to save a picture from the game to your photo library, iOS asks your permission first. The game can only add pictures there; it never reads your photo library.

Sharing

When you share a picture, iOS's own share sheet sends it only to the app or person you pick. The game doesn't see or keep where it went.

Children

The game collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
